Mae Belle
Living in the country, sometimes cats just "show up" in your barn. Such was the case with Mae Belle. She showed up in our barn on May 1, 2008 (hence the name "Mae" Belle.) She's a very sweet kitty when it comes to humans, but not so much when it comes to other cats. Frankie is about twice her size and Sammy is about 3-4 times her size, yet they are both terrified of her! She's small but mighty and has very rarely been known to back down from a fight.
Mae Belle was originally an outdoor kitty. For awhile, at night (and during the winter) she slept in the laundry room so I didn't have worry about those pesky coyotes getting her. Now she's a full-time indoor kitty and she absolutely loves it. Frankie and Sammy don't care for it - but they're all adjusting.
